About Green Tara

In Tibetan Buddhism, Green Tara holds an exalted position. Also known as Dolma, she is the compassionate manifestation of Avalokiteshvara, the Bodhisattva of Compassion, and the chief among the 21 Taras. She is revered for her ability to save beings from eight great dangers, such as fire, lions, elephants, snakes, water, imprisonment, thieves, and non-human beings, earning her the title "Savior from the Eight Difficulties."
