Our Story

Engraving East Story Module

In my childhood, thanks to my parents' work at the museum, I was able to come into contact with bronze engravings from thousands of years ago every day. Those mysterious patterns and inscriptions filled me with curiosity and embarked me on a journey of exploring （click here to learn about this craft）.

When I was in college in Guangzhou, I was delighted to find that there were still intangible cultural heritage inheritors who carried on this ancient craft in Guangzhou. At that moment, it seemed as if I had found my spiritual home.

After learning that this craft was on the verge of being lost, I finally discovered my life's goal and mission, which is to inherit and promote this craft, and to let more people around the world know about and participate in it.

What excited me even more was that I met two friends who shared the same passion as me. Together, we formed a team and created the brand "Engraving East".

Our team of craftsmen can perform micro-carving on metal sheets as thin as 0.02mm, creating perfectly detailed masterpieces. They employ 12 different types of cutting techniques on these tiny metal sheets, achieving a density and level of detail that are unparalleled by other workshops.
