Born in 1966 in Zhenhu, Wenying has been wielding the embroidery needle since her early childhood. From a tender age, she apprenticed with seasoned embroiderers, learning the art of embroidery.

Later, she pursued advanced studies at the Suzhou Embroidery Research Institute and the Hangzhou Institute of Arts and Crafts. She has been invited numerous times to participate in embroidery seminars at the Suzhou Embroidery Museum and the Suzhou National Museum.
